Your invited to visit the recreated 1930’s tobacco farm and see how the farm family lived in this completely decorated house, barn and even a 100-year old privy. Farm implements fill the barn, and a split-rail fence and picket fence show the different styles of fencing and log structures. Located on White Oak Street across from the Historical Register Depot/Museum, the Living History Museum is open by appointment only.

A new Veteran's Memorial has been erected on Main Street near the Gazebo, across from the Courthouse.
